On your mobile phone, you'll find a clean, streamlined interface that is more aligned with the desktop or laptop version. On your tablet, the app will work exactly the same way as it does on your computer.
We know our old version of the app was limited in scope, so we've put all our efforts into creating a powerful and exciting new experience so that you and your team can work better together — from anywhere!
When should I use the Stormboard App?
You can’t always predict when or where inspiration will strike.
Never lose track of your best plans or ideas — you can create, collaborate, and virtually brainstorm whether you are out for a jog, at dinner with friends, or away from your desk in the middle of a workday.
By using the Stormboard App on your mobile device or tablet, you can stay connected and in sync with your team — in real time — from anywhere in the world.
What can I do in the mobile version of the Stormboard App?
The new app user interface enables faster, easier collaboration from anywhere.
On top of being able to add and edit sticky notes from your mobile device, you can manage your team and workflow through the improved voting system, sticky note assignments, and tasks. You can also check your Storm activity, take advantage of improved whiteboarding and search functions, create Storms, join Storms, invite users, edit ideas, and more!
Note that the Mobile App does not have the same functionality as your desktop version of Stormboard but is meant to be a companion to the full online version.
What can I do in the tablet version of the Stormboard App?
The tablet version of the app works just like our desktop edition but takes advantage of tablet-specific features like pinch and zoom.
Is the Stormboard App free to download?
Yes! The app is free to download to your mobile device or tablet.
Does the Stormboard App work in real time?
Yes! Everything you do in the app will be added to your Storms instantly so that the rest of your team can see your great ideas.
